If you are experiencing gas heartburn, you may want to add a little baking soda or bicarbonate to the water to help you get rid of the gas that has collected in your stomach.

For some cases of persistent heartburn, you will need an over the counter remedy to get any relief at all from the condition. There are many different types of remedies in numerous forms, including tablets, pills, liquids, and drinks. The type of remedy chosen for use to relieve your persistent heartburn will depend on what type of medication you prefer and how severe the condition is at the time.
